Resume

Professional Summary

After spending nearly a decade in the offshore oil and gas industry as a Production Technician, I made the life-changing decision to hang up my FIFO hat in 2018 to be home with my family and care for my father full-time. His long and heart-breaking battle with dementia led to his eventual transition into a high-care memory support unit in 2021. Sadly, he passed away at the end of 2022.

Seeking a family-friendly career that allowed me to still support my father, I transitioned into IT at the end of 2021, gaining hands-on experience in IT Service Desk Support (Level 1 and 2) and working within a SOE team in an agile environment.

I am currently enrolled in a Certificate IV in IT (Programming) at TAFE, with an expected completion date in June of this year. My goal is to begin my university studies in Semester 2 this year, pursuing a Bachelor of Information Technology.
